"I was excited about this one when it was first announced because I'm partial to the baked goods scented balms from Treat. But some of the reviews were a little scary. I took a chance anyway, and I LOVE IT!!! It's sweet, but not cloyingly sweet, a little creamy, and a WHOLE lotta butta! I wish I could bite into it, but that would probably be weird, lol. This is definitely not as maple-y as the Funnel Cake (which I adore), it's just its own special sort of buttery sweetness. Delicious!" - Kimberly

This One's A Keeper

I've never had the pleasure of eating gooey butter cake, but this lip balm smells exactly how I'd imagine gooey butter cake to taste.

Since I love the sweet "bakery" scents I decided to give this one a whirl. So glad I did!

Treat really nailed this one for me!! I am literally in love. I taste all the flavors .the butterscotch comes through and the cream cheese frosting... so delicious. And very buttery and creamy. Fabulous I got a backup ♥️💋

Heavy on the butter!

When I smell this I really do just get an artificial butter smell (that's honestly not very appealing)... and that's about it. It does have a sweet taste that reminds me of gooey butter cake, though. I would like it a lot more if the smell was more complex and had the sweetness factor to it. The formula is nice and smooth as always. Overall, I wouldn't have chosen this one if I were able to smell it first, but I do like it well enough.

Can I Eat It?

This reminds me of like a funnel cake, and I just want to bite right into it! It is so rich and delicious smelling! Yumm!!

Not My Favorite

My first Treat lip balm was Macaron and I love the flavor and scent. Perfect mix of almond and cherry sweetness. I am not a fan of the Gooey Butter Bake. It smells sickingly sweet, I really only pickup the cream cheese frosting notes and it leaves an odd after taste. I’ll continue to use my other lip balms but will probably give this one to my kid.
