Choosing a hydrating moisturizer can be tricky, because on the one hand you need the moisture to fight the signs of aging and leave your skin glowing, but on the other hand too much moisture may cause you to breakout.

So now not only are you dealing with dull, dry skin, but pimples too... uh oh!

Luckily there’s an easy fix and that’s to simply look at the ingredients in our lip balms.

Yep, that’s right! Most of our ingredients you can use on your lips are good enough to use on the rest of your face too.

Keep reading to learn more.

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

This oil is pure indulgence! Coconut oil will hydrate your skin like no other, yet it’s high fatty acid content will fight inflammation to ensure your skin stays clear and healthy with less redness.

Coconut oil is also antibacterial, which is bad news for those pesky pimples, but great news for your skin!

Always apply oils to slightly damp skin to allow for better absorption and use your fingers to press the oil into your pores, rather than rub it, which can simply cause the oil to slide off your skin.

Shea Butter

Don’t shy away from this rich moisturizer which can feel too greasy for acne skin.

Shea butter is jam-packed in beneficial vitamins and minerals along with fatty acids to fight inflammation, kill acne bacteria and even fade and prevent acne scars.

If you’re worried that it may be too heavy then start by applying in a small area and see how your skin responds.

We bet you’ll fall in love!

Vitamin E

This superstar antioxidant Vitamin is fantastic for the skin, as it helps to neutralize free radicals for a more youthful complexion, while aiding in tissue repair and helping to face acne scars.

You can shop around for a pure Vitamin E oil or simply try adding more Vitamin E rich foods into your diet such as almonds, leafy greens, nut butters, avocados, sweet potatoes and pine nuts, just to name a few!

Try this amazing sweet potato recipe with avocado for a really special treat!

If you’re looking to add a moisturizer into your routine that will nourish and hydrate without causing breakouts then you can’t go wrong with any of these three ingredients. Always read the label, ask questions if you need to and make sure the product is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog your pores.

I love your jumbo moisture stick. I use it all over, dry spot on my face, quick touch on elbows and even dry ends of my hair. The other day I had to use it in a pinch in place of hair gel for my kid! The next day his hair was so silky soft. But can you make other scents of the moisture stick please?!

I absolutely love my watermelon . I’ve told everyone at work about your product. I ordered the peaches and cream and am so disappointed. The smell is bad. Not peaches and I can’t use it now. I was going to try to get wedding g cake but now I’m nervous

I would still prefer a scentless one for facial use.
